Al-Ittihad not giving up on Salah
Liverpool are desperate to hold onto Mohamed Salah amid unwanted interest from Al-Ittihad.
Jurgen Klopp has consistently – and increasingly angrily – rebuffed reports of Salah leaving for the riches of the Middle East.
But Sky Sports reports that Al-Ittihad are not backing off and are willing to offer over £100million for Salah, as well as a salary worth over £1.5m per week.
The whole deal could be worth £150m once add-ons are included.
Saudi Pro League sides have until September 20 to wrap up deals, meaning the headache is unlikely to go away for Klopp.

Mbappe not going anywhere
Earlier this summer the situation between Kylian Mbappe and his employers was hardly harmonious, but now it’s all roses at Paris Saint-Germain, according to club president Nasser Al-Khelaifi.
He told RMC Sport yesterday: “We have another 24 hours. Kylian is a PSG player. We have very good discussions with him, he is a magnificent player, as a person and as a professional.
“We discussed with the rest of his family. We’re going to work, try to do something. If we can, why not? If not, we’re ready, we’re fine. An extension? I don’t want to talk about that.”

Fati to be announced by Brighton
In a major coup, Brighton are poised to announce the loan signing of Ansu Fati later today.
Barcelona decided to send one of their brightest stars out temporarily to gain some experience and the 20-year-old flew in yesterday to complete the paperwork.
The style of play under Roberto De Zerbi is understood to have played a major part in the deal happening, with Sevilla and Borussia Dortmund among the other interested parties.
