Michael Beale’s men lost 2-1 to Newcastle in Allan McGregor’s testimonial last week before beating Hamburg by the same scoreline on Saturday.

Having already been out in Germany for a pre-season training camp, the Rangers will head out to the nation again to take on Hoffenheim this weekend.

Before that, it’s Olympiacos at Ibrox tonight.

Tom Lawrence will be keen to get more minutes too having made his long-awaited return from almost a year out in the same game.

Dujon Sterling is injured while the Light Blues have yet to confirm the signings of Danilo and Jose Cifuentes, although both are close.

Olympiacos, who finished third in the Greek Superleague last season, don’t perhaps have the vast array of household names they once had.

But they do have some dangerous players in their ranks, including Moroccan World Cup star Youssef El-Arabi and South Korean favourite Hwang In-beom.
